This is a character interview that was supposed to be put up on a site for a blog tour. Unfortunately it didn't get placed, so I thought it would be fun to share it here!
Check out Lahash the demon.
My name is MD Fryson and I am the author of the Meridian Chronicles Series and I wanted to share a little bit about the second book to the series ‘Black Widow Curse & The Coven’ and one of the new characters that has been introduced in this book. He has become an interesting anti-hero.
Lahash, a demon from the high court who oozes with disdain, relentlessly pursues his own agenda and not only does he make it clear he is out for himself, he makes no apologies for his self-serving agendas throughout the book.
Why would that make him a great antihero? Well he is that demon who makes no bones about who he is and what he wants. He doesn’t want to rule the world, the dark realm or anywhere else. He just wants to rule his own world and draw his power from the very beings on Earth that feed his appetite. The politicians and lawyers give him rise and reason to live. He does what he is ordered to do by the dark one and admittedly hates offering aid to the main antagonist, Warrick who seeks to keep his true identity hidden from the Spirit Guides.
So who is Lahash? Well apart from being a maverick demon of the high court, he carries his rogue attitude with flair. Lahash wasn’t available for the interview here, because he can’t be bothered with those things, but he was kind enough to answer a few questions that I can share with you here.
Lahash’s Interview- Demon from the dark realm’s high court.
Q: Lahash, what is your favorite place on Earth?
A:Well, Paris certainly has appeal and keeps me in the best fashions, however Italy has my attention with wonderful architecture and of course my favorite drink, Disarranno. We can’t forget about the quaint town of Salem, certainly is becoming a favorite.
Q: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
A:Change? Why, I quite like myself actually. I can’t see any reason for me to change.I dress great, I have wonderful sense of style and tastes in life. The dark one sees me as an up and coming favorite in the dark realm.
Q: Do you believe in life after death?
A: Well of course I do.If you read the series anyone can see there could potentially be many lives to live after a mortal death. The present situation of the afterlife is what keeps me quite busy these days.
Q: Do you have any pet peeves?
A:Certainly. Beings that cannot be who they are without apologies. One shouldn’t ever be apologetic to who they are.
Q: Your latest crush?
A:Oh, I do love this question. Echo, the elemental fairy nymph. She rules the element of Earth.Oh do I like her, she is exotic and surreal. It certainly is taking her time to realize what a better plane of existence she would be in to spend time with me.But, I am still working at inspiring her right now.I think though, she will find that she is powerless against my demon charms. You just wait and see.
So that was Lahash from 'Black Widow Curse & The Coven' by MD Fryson. Stay tuned for more from Lahash in the next book 'Fairy Nymphs & The
